Janmashtami will be celebrated for two days today, August 11 and August 12, due to differences in the calendar. Janmotsav will be celebrated on August 12 in Mathura and Dwarka. The festival will be celebrated on the night of August 11 in Jagannathpuri. At Badrinath Dham and those who belong to the Shaivite sect, they will celebrate Janmashtami on August 11.
According to Ujjain astrologer Pandit Manish Sharma, the 5247th Janmashtami will be celebrated this year. There are also almanac differences in this regard. This year after 60 years, Bharani Nakshatra, Krittika Nakshatra and Jupiter of Dhan Rashi are becoming yoga with the eighth date.
Lord Krishna, the eighth incarnation of Vishnu, lived on earth for 125 years. During this time he killed ungodly people like Kans. The Pandavas were victorious in the battle of Mahabharata. The city of Dwarka was founded. Thus they remained on earth for about 125 years and then returned to their Vaikuntha Dham.
According to Bhuvanchandra Uniyal, Dharmadhikari of Badrinath Dham, one of the Chardhams, people of Advaita and Smart sects will celebrate Janmashtami on August 11. The eighth date of Shravan's Vad Paksha will start from 9.07 am on the 11th. The date will be on August 12 at 11.17am. The night of August 11 will be the eighth date. Due to which Janmashtami will be celebrated on the night of August 11 in Badrinath Dham. For, Lord Krishna was born on the night of the eighth day.
The eighth date of Udayakalin is important in Vaishnava sect. That is why Janmashtami will be celebrated on August 12 in this sect. While Shri Sampradaya and Nimbark Sampradaya have a tradition of celebrating Janmashtami in Rohini Nakshatra. Due to which these people will celebrate Janmashtami in Rohini Nakshatra on 13th August.
After 60 years, Janmashtami has a wonderful combination of date, date and constellation:
Pt. According to Manish Sharma, Janmashtami will be celebrated on August 11 and 12 this year, but Rohini Nakshatra will not be on the night on both these dates. At this time Jupiter is located in his own zodiac wealth. There will be Bharani Nakshatra on the night of 11th August at 12 noon and Krittika Nakshatra on the night of 12th August at 12 noon.
Such yoga took place 60 years ago on 13 and 14 August 1960. Jupiter was also in Dhan Rashi that year. The night of 13th August was Bharani and the night of 14th August was Krittika Nakshatra and Janmashtami was celebrated.
Lord Krishna was born in Rohini Nakshatra: -
In the Dwapar era, Lord Krishna was incarnated on the eighth day of the Vad Paksha in the month of Shravan. At that time the Moon was in the high zodiac Taurus. That day was Wednesday and Rohini Nakshatra. This year, Janmashtami is not a coincidence. Rohini Nakshatra will not be on 11th and 12th August. The constellation will be on August 13th.
However, Janmashtami is traditionally celebrated according to the date. So the festival will be celebrated on 11th and 12th August. There will also be Sarvarth Siddhi Yoga on Janmashtami day on 12th August this year. Worshiping in this yoga can bring good results soon. It is best to celebrate Janmashtami according to the calendar and scholars of one's own field.
