Mumbai: Notices have been issued by the Education Control Department to 11 private schools refusing to enroll students under RTE (Right to Education).
The school has warned the cancellation of the validation. Under the Right to Education Act, it is compulsory for poor students to keep 25% of private school in the private sector. However, many schools have denied enrolling the students since the last few years due to the amount of reimbursement for the education expenses of these students from the government. Last month, the list of students enrolled by the RTE was announced. However, the admission students did not get admission to the school, so about 11 schools have been notified by the Education Inspection Office.
If the students still do not get admission, the school's validity can be canceled, according to the education observer.
